The Project
This Grade II* listed property, built in the 1850s, is set within magnificent grounds, featuring a lake and its own private chapel. The house has retained many of its original features, including the small kitchen in the servants’ quarters. The interior décor, largely untouched since the 1980s, was in need of a sympathetic update. This project has been lovingly restored, with the recent addition of a large-scale orangery, designed to maximise the views of the garden and the surrounding landscape.
The Brief
To be sympathetic to the property, preserving its integrity and not detracting from its historical character. To create a warm family home, along with designated areas for entertaining.
